Evaluation: Hayley has a growing vocabulary which she is beginning to use within her written and oral literacy work. She can sequence a picture story, that she has heard, and brainstorm to create a word bank of adjectives to be used in the retell of her story.
Next Steps: Hayley's next steps include building her personal word bank, and confidence in use, of adjectives which she will use in varied contexts. Hayley will next be reading level 10 material and she will continue to practice using longer and longer sentences when she speaks with others.
Writing Goal: Hayley Maxwell will use written words and visual language to describe her technology constructions.
Hayley is able to find the adjectives, through discussion or from a word bank, to describe the technology she has achieved during literacy, and can write about and evaluate her creations.
Reading Goal: Hayley can read at Level 9.
Hayley's reading continues to progress with growing confidence. She is now reading level 9 books and she participates with growing confidence in discussions about the stories she reads.
Oral Language Goal: Hayley will use longer sentences of 5 words or more, including descriptors, to deliver her news.
Hayley is beginning to use longer sentences when delivering her news and during other conversations that she has including, making a request for assistance and being specific about what she wants.
