ILP Goal: Hayley will answer questions about material she has just seen, ie, who, what, matching or finding one like this.
Evaluation: Achiever. Hayley can look at a picture from Blanks Questions Level 3 and answer questions about what she sees and interprets from the picture. She is able to tell me what she thinks could happen next in the picture and what the characters might say to each other.
Next Steps: Hayley will learn a range of phonics skills which will assist with her learning in literacy.
Written Learning Goal: Hayley will learn to write a narrative.
Improver. Hayley can listen and view a narrative, such as a fairy tale, and make alterations to the characters, theme, or details of the plot, resulting in the creation of her own narrative. Hayley achieves this by discussing her ideas with the teacher, using a word list to assist with ideas, and writing her stories into her book.
Next Steps: Hayley will learn the conventions of letter writing.
Oral Language Goal: Hayley will present a narrative she has written.
Learner. Hayley is quiet and shy about reading her story to the class. She displays much more confidence when describing activities that she has participated outside of school.
Next Steps: Hayley will continue to work on presenting her work to the class.
Reading Goal: Hayley will read at Level 9.
Achieved. Hayley is a confident reader, who has very good skills she uses to read new words. Hayley is reading at level 10 and continuing to progress. She is able to read her story and accurately answer questions about the events of the story.
Next Steps: Hayley will continue to progress through the reading levels.
